I just got back this last weekend on a trip to Mexico.  We took a group of 12 that served with Adventures In Missions.  We had a crazy amount of rain which was a huge obstacle the first part of the trip.  We were able to finally get into the colonia and do some house visits, and serve the people in Matamoros.  The trip was awesome and went smoothly.  Here are some picks from Mexico and San Antonio.

There are so many great families that we have been able to get to know.  The Baldo-Downs have welcomed us so graciously and we love getting to know them more.  They have two beautiful daughters and a studious son.  We did a quick photo session the other day and the results came out great.  

CAMP SMILE A MILE!!

I was so blessed to be a part of Camp Smile A Mile [ www.campsam.org ]  Camp Smile A Mile is a camp that is dedicated to kids that have cancer.  The camp is unbelievable everything from a circus, to all sorts of activities and sports.  We are going to put together a DVD and some coffee table books for the organization.  Please consider donating to CAMPSAM or giving your time, talents, to help this wonderful organization.

Family Vacation

Our Family spent the week on beautiful Smith Lake in Alabama this past week.  We stayed in a custom built home right on a point [see their work at www.cranebuilders.com]  We were so blessed to stay in such a great house to just be together as a family.  Here are a couple pictures I took over the week.

The Watterson Family holds a special place in my heart.  It has been amazing watching their family grow.  This last summer I was able to spend a lot of time with them and I cherished every minute of it.  I am secretly trying to arrange the marriages of my nephews and nieces with their kids even though they have a ways to go till that point it doesn't hurt starting early.  It was such a blast to see them when i was in Michigan.  Best wishes Watterson's.
