Hawaii

We're back!  We had such an amazing time in Hawaii.  We saw and did so many things.  We were so blessed to go with some great friends of ours Aaron and Katie.  The weather was killer except for some wind.  Melissa and I never thought we would get the chance to go so early on in our marriage.  We loved it and have Hawaii fever - Melissa already wants to go back.  Enjoy the pics of our experience.  I know some of you love beach photos if you want to order any that you see here let me know.

Holland, MI

While in Holland my father in law and I went out with our cameras to see what we could capture. He used to be a professional photographer and I love learning how to shoot from him.  I must say that I have become quite the wuss when it comes to cold weather - after a couple minutes out I wished I was back indoors again.  But like my father in law says the best of pictures usually happen in bad weather - so get used to it.

I have found a couple places here in Tuscaloosa that are amazingly beautiful. They are great sites for portraits and great places just to take in the sites & sounds.

Beauty Is All Around Us

To order any pictures seen on this post CLICK HERE

I am continually trying out new logo designs until I find one I think really looks good and fits the style of the photography I shoot - that being said I am unveiling another look. I am sure there will be a few more looks until I land on one. I am posting pictures from several different shoots and seasons of finding beauty all around us. One of my favorite things to do is to go on a walk with my camera and see if anything jumps out at me or I am able to capture something unexpectantly.

Hunting Dog

To order any pictures seen on this post CLICK HERE

This last weekend we went to the Hartley's camp house for the ACA girls soccer retreat. At the camp house were two dogs that are used for hunting rabbits. I got some great pics of them both. The camp house was in Moundville and some of their property had swamp land that reminded me of Louisiana. We had a great time in the remote countryside and at night the sky was filled with stars - too beautiful.
